Have you considered adding throwing disks by using the bow and arrows? You could make the bow invisible, and make a skin for the arrows that turns them into disks. And then when disk launchers come in you could turn crossbows into launchers and the bolts into disks with magic effects.

yeah, they could have given Onua the body shape of the werewolf, they're both hunched and they have the same slashing based attacks, and for pohatu a rescaled giant, giants are bottom heavy and they walk like pohatu.

What would be cool, is if instead of gold coins you had light stones. And instead of soul gems you could take infected masks off rahi, then you could drop the infected masks into a pit (like they did with the krana) and a certain number of infected masks will eventually give you rewards.

will some structures be made of ice? and would it be possible to give the Ice attacks the power to freeze water (or to make ice appear on the water when hit, so it looks like it's freezing.)

just mind blowing, will there be secrets on the island? like caves with writings about other places and legends.

I bet it will be terrifying.
