Problem being, it's not like he is now magically a sell out. It's not like it will be a full priced game, and prevent people from enjoying it. Now, they might actually be able to cover the cost of financing a masterpiece like Dear Esther. Just because it's being released for commercial distribution doesn't mean it's going to be the next big thing and you lose all your hipster cred. It's a step in the right direction, and if you're too clouded to see the pros and the cons, then I feel sorry for you.
