My favorite game is Deus Ex. I'm a huge gamer & otaku. I've been gaming & watching anime since before I could walk, no joke. I'm a Net Junky & computer geek. I love making vids & blogging. I value openness & honesty above all else & strive towards them in all that I do, regardless of consequences. All I expect is others afford me with the same courtesy.

Deleting the INI's in My Documents did the Trick! Had I not forgotten about them that would have been one of the first things I tried. As soon as you mention them I facepalmed myself. Thanks!

I have tried installing Kentie's EXE, DX10 Render, & the C++ Runtimes separately rather than through the installer. Same deal. The issue is unique to this mod. Its acting EXACTLY like the issue described in that thread. Crashing as soon as i launch the actual game.

Tried the Page File Solution, set it to 8 gig, it did not work. Also tried from a completely fresh install which also did not work. I have 8Gigs of ram. And i checked task manager and nothing is eating up an inordinate amount of ram. The Crash is acting EXACTLY like the old TNM crash. One other thing it only happens when loading the Nihilim INI & Log I am running on Windows 7 64Bit if it makes any difference.

When I try to run the game I get the following error message.

"Ran out of Virual memory. To prevent this condition you must free up more space on your primary hard disk."

I have over 555 gigs free on my hard drive. What could be causing this.

the "sliding mode" thing sound like an S3TC testure error are you using the New vision mod? Because you get that in a lot of the old Unreal Games Liek Unreal and UT GOTY when you sue the S3TC Hi Res textures it has to due with the difference in the types of texture used for the models and the environment or something like that form what ive read i really dont know much about it except that the only way to prevent it is to somoehow merge the textures
