There's 2 ways to do this, change the map names with trailer_, x06_ or lab_. These will trigger the color change but the map changes won't work so I don't recommend that. The 2nd way is to compile project beta with || !Q_strnicmp(gpGlobals->mapname.ToCStr(), "test", 4))
and also || !Q_strnicmp(gpGlobals->mapname.ToCStr(), "escape", 6))
in portal_gamerules.cpp
