Are you able to play online with your potential lan partneers, that should be a good temporary fix :p

Even that wouldn't be nesciserry since I installed it normally. And just added launch properties for eaw in the steam,"MODPATH\(mod name)" works flawlessly :)

I was down to Corusant, I had to defend it with all I got for 2 huge battles. I had retreated all of my navy back to corusant when my planets were being hit like flies.

Now I belive I've destroyed most of Cis navy and managed to get one planet back with only with Obi & Anak. I hope my lack of funds wont destroy "my new empire". :)

Relatively normal for Foc imo. Nothing to be scared of probably.

If you've already extracted the "mods" folder from the raw.rar then.

It asks where to install or something..

It has to point to your foc\data folder for example for me because I have steam its.

"example...\corruption\data"

Just triple check it's right, then install.

Haven't played the game much. I kinda bought it when it was really cheap on steam. Mostly because of this mod :p

Most likely due failed install. I was destroyed in GC in under an hour on Easy also my first skirmish was quite a quick loss..

One problem I found was that the install guide has some quirks in it.

First the Folder steam users should select is corruption folder not empire at war, then it will add the "\data" to the end. So it should point to ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\data
if done right..

Second the "enclosed" text tells you a totally different folder which is also wrong.

Although I got it working on the first try because I'm awesome.. :P
But I believe that might be one reason people are doing it wrong since the guide says that, and people say trust the quide.

Whaat, that's not nessiserry is it ? It works for me without merging anything, apart from the part where you copy the Mods folder over the Foc\mods folder..

You need a working Forces of Corruption at least, that should be enough to my knowledge. Doesn't need to be Gold box.

If you use the "browse" option to select your folder, which is different than the default. Select the foc folder since it adds "\data" to the end!

If you select data folder with the browse option, it will point to "foc\data\data"! Which is incorrect. Just check out what it points to before you click "next".

Yup, they pretty much raped me after I tried to take over Kuat. They launched a massive attack and during one day in the game they took all of my planets effortlessly and I had only corusant... to be continued :)

Yea, It's a bit different if it's in the upgrade bar, but It's also a strategic element for the game. To know your timing right when to upgrade. All I have to say is I suck at that. :p

Btw if you are seeing this.. You might have actually tried to open a .rar file with ms Word ?

In this case I would advice you to download winrar or 7zip or similiar uncompressing software to open the file. Winzip is so ancient it probably cant open it at least by default.

True, one of the few games that you alway should make backups for every save because of the freezing during saving which destroys the save file.. :d

Only game which has had it worse was Colin Mcrae: Dirt (1) which destroyed save games left & right and only had a console style auto save function even in the pc game. No backups could be made ingame at least. It was too late for me when my nearly complete career was derezzed. :(

AI problems are due bad install. Go to official forums for halp or my profile which has my "unofficial install guide" that worked for me at least.

Like "Where can I get malovelence?"
