Through a hilarious series of mix-ups and hijinks, I managed to actually remove myself from the mod team in some sort of pseudo-drunken stupor. That was an accident, however, and now I'm back and redoing most of the weapons (but not all; some are probably going to be trashed for good reason).

We aren't going to post a new update every week just to reassure people we're not dead.

I know "we're a small team" sounds like a lame excuse. But it's true. For example, I am the ONLY modeler and skinner on the team. That means I do both prop and weapon models, UVs, and textured, reflect, normal skins. I'd rather spend an hour working on all that than on setting up and waiting for a render. The two mappers don't have it much better.

We will update, but we will not update at a pace that is detrimental to our work. That's the final word.

That goes for everyone else as well.

Anyways, about the title, I haven't really talked to nccgs about it. I think it's fine. It tells you exactly what we're all about, like Snakes on a Plane or Unreal Tournament.

And yea, I know this isn't the kind of "Big Update" people are used to. Understand that for our modeling department (um... me), this IS a big update. You're staring at roughly 40% of our weapons there.

Well, some of you may be wondering why the shotgun isn't skinned yet or why the pistol still has such an ugly texture. And the reason is that I've gotten in a spot of trouble at school, leading to me getting grounded, leading to me not being able to model or game until school lets out. Which is in 3 1/2 weeks. I am -NOT- quitting the team. Far from it, in fact. I'll still be in communication with the rest of the team members. I'll be working on concepts since I'm still allowed to draw. Progress has been slow so far and we know that some, hell, probably a lot of people don't have any faith in our completing this. But damn if we won't do our best.

See you in the summer, and just to raise morale a bit let me direct you to one of Wookie's old posts.

Hey everyone! I've officialy joined the team as a modeler and skinner, so if there are any objects you'd like to see in the mod, or if any mappers need an object they can't make "right" out of blocks, send me an email.
