Hmm, it depends which controller you have. I have X360 pad and it works just fine. Though, you need to apply Dpad controller fix (just once) in launcher, you'll find it in Advanced options along with simple instruction to it. I think it should solve those bug that you mentioned, if you mean some problems with Sticks and D-pad.

Ah, not all images in RE3 were in 640 res. Some of those backs was left in 320X240 - devs apparently forget to re-render them by mistake. So there's no 640X480 images ("in nature") for such places like: Bar Jack or RPD courtyard (night), restaurant basement and others. ..So we remastered those images by A.I.

Final Fantasy 8 movies also looks choppy for you? SourceNext fmv's looks smoothly, but who says that it's better for RE3? Capcom? SourcNext? You? I'm not sure that original game devs made decision to re-release game with 30 fps movies. Many people also like original 15 fps framerate. And how many times I should repeat that I DON'T MIND. JUST DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS RIGHT NOW.

Go to Advanced Options section in Launcher and apply D-Pad cantroller fix after reading its instruction. It will properly bind analog axies and D-pad. I think it should help.

It's a common issue, when you touch analog stick game read it twice, that's why it map it next time again. Just clear wrong mapping and on a second time it will bind it properly.

15 fps FMVs was on PSX not because some technical \ space limitations or things like that. PSX ver. has more than 100 mb of free space. We can put 30fps FMVs into it even in fullscreen without any serious problems or loss of quality. Remember how 30fps movies works in Tomb Raider Chronicles and it looks great.

Let's remember 30 fps cut-scene in the beginning of Tomb Raider 2, while all other fmv's was in ! 15 ! Why so? In Dino Crisis 2 we have 30 fps video sequences in the whole game except ! one ! 15 fps fmv when satellite kills T-rex. It's all artistic decisions. Its better to accept that. So sad that people don't even try to get it...

The reason why they made it in 15 fps, from my perspective, is because RE3 videos looks great in this speed. 30 fps kills all its cinematic, suspense, dynamic, direction etc. It's like if we convert RE2 FMVs from 30 to 15 frames, it would kill everything.

Besides, we can't talk seriously about technical \ space limits since we have Dreamcast and PC ver. original ports, which don't have any hardware \ disks limitations, but has the same 15 fps FMV framerate. They include 30 fps in Gamecube and SorceNext versions only because they don't have any noticeable changes for that modern platforms. So they decide to pull the wool over fans eyes by this trick and looks like it still works. I don't mind to made 30 fps ver. Maybe when I have some time... )

Hi, sorry, but unfortunately it means that only those backgrounds that were in 320X240 resolution has been improved by A.I. and now have the same quality as normal 640X480 backs. For example all gameplay backs in Bar Jack originally was in 320X240, while cut-scene one's comes in true 640X480. Devs obviously rendered them in 320 by mistake (or forget to render in 640) The thing is, RE3 was developed in a big rush, so there's no surprises here..)

Yeah, it really runs faster (in terms of movement) on PC, I mean on any PC version in compare with consoles. It seems game skipping some animation cycle when Jill running or walking.

It don't have any balance or difficulty changes. We focused mainly on resource improvements, but again, in a limits of original in most cases.

No, you can install your game wherever you want. Patch should detect you installation automatically. See how to install video in archive if you have some troubles.

Not at all )) You probably misunderstand something. X360 controller support only means adding extra config profiles to bio3.ini - that's it.

Well, judging by RE2 Remake, it's a completely different game which has almost nothing to do with original. Not hard to guess that RE3 "remake" will go the same way. In this regard I didn't see the reason why we should close something.

Ok, but what happens next, game froze or crash? If so, it means that you press door skipping button (Map key) in a very unsuitable moment. For example, in the middle of the next room loading process. It's really hard to "hit" this moment, but in very rare cases it's possible. It's not a mod problem, since the same issue also exist in a clean game version. The only advice I can give, try to not pushing door skip button too quickly, right after door animation appears or even earlier.

Another problem with doors, which also presented in RE3, it's when door animation didn't start, but game doesn't crash or freeze. It happens at times in one room of Clock Tower and one room of Hospital location. In this situation, you just have to wait while game "unfreeze", something like 10-30 sec. All abovementioned issues are also take place in every version of the game from Japanese initial release to SourceNext version. Currently, it's hard to say how it can be solved.

Hi, no, I'd actually planing to do such version for people with hearing problems. It will be a side part of our translation transferring initiative. Besides, there's not so much work needs to be done for it. But I'm quite surprised that someone really need this though...
