Are you sure that there's a path which dwarf can climb up/down to your destination? Dwarves can only climb the blocks next to them.

Other than that, it can be a bug! We're still in Alpha, so we have handful of bugs, especially in pathfinding! ^^

But no, it has too little to do with Minecraft. Alas, it has something about Dwarf Fortress, which itself is an inspiration for Minecraft! ^^

Chicken edition is free, but it's updated at least a week later than paid versions. Settlers edition got properly updated bi-weekly, and has some bonus material in it. Valkyrie edition is special "limited" one, for who want to support Frenchrice Games more. That includes Settler's Ed., and has more bonus material in it.

So there's no difference between games, except Chicken ed. gets updates a little later.

Desura is delaying news for some kind of approval. So, the site updates few hours before Desura :)
