Ok, this mod is going to DIE, all because many people seem to think that this type of a mod is a failed idea. All we are asking for is for people to give it a chance, work with us, help us see how good this can become.

Sounds cool. Interesting thing is, is that you are making a Mod with dogs, and it seems to be getting MUCH more responce, and positive, than our Mod The Dogs of War. It seems that it will be a dead mod, all because some seem to think that a mod with animals would nto be good, thus not wanting to give this a chance to see how good it CAN be. i wish you the best of luck, Newt.

Ok, it is desided. We are going to make our mod on the Orange Box Engine. Everyone seems to be moving over to it, so why not follow in line.

It will be a modification for HL2, kind of like Team Fortress (but with more customization), a little bit of Firearms (weapon choices), CS:S (last-dog-standing mode), with a touch of role-play (sklls!) And yes, you guessed it, all the players will be playing different breeds of dogs, each class suited to the particular breed's capabilities.

Ok,Here is a little teaser. We have the bredds for the most part all figured out, however changes can still take place. Here are 4 of the breeds that will not be changed, and there class.

Boxer / Gunner
Pomeranian / Medic

If you are here looking at this page, than you have probably already found this mod interesting, or perhaps just having a look. While you are here I hope you took the time to see the screen shots of some of the models made for our mod, and hopefully are now reading the comments that are left by other like minded people like you.So now let me tell you a few things about this mod.
You will see several things out of this mod, and I shall now explain a few of them.
1) We are aiming for originality. As far as I know there has never been a mod out with this sort of idea, at least not for HL2.
2) Models found in this mod will be ORIGINAL. You will not see models like this in any other game, we are not just taking models from one game, and putting them into this one. Granted, some models will be, like some trees, and other little things, but that is just for the ease of mapping. But, most models will be NEW, as well as textures, things you have not seen before, and the modeler we have now does a DAMN good job, as you may already see by the screen shots.
3) Expect a few interesting things in game play, cant tell you what they are, but we feel that you will like what we have in store.
4) My aim, as chief mapper, is to make interesting, new, and fun, maps.And once again, originality is in play.
5) FUN!!! That is the main goal here. we want you, the player, to have as much fun as possible while playing this mod.

So, there are just a few of the things I have to say about this mod. Keep an eye out for any updates, screen shots, and soon videos. We hope your visit here has spawned curiosity, and interest, in the game, and that you will sit in anticipation of its release.

Well, now we have a name, an idea, and the desire to run with it. If there is anyone out there that is willing to help us out, and maybe see where this can go, leave a message.

Hey everyone, Firearms players, and non players. I have a few things to say, first off, i started playing this game back when it first came out, than went on a few year breack, due to not having a good intervet connection. In the time that I was not playing it to now, it has had quite the face lift. Now some of you whoi DO play this game probibly know me, i am not the best player out there, but I am here to HAVE FUN!! Now, who the HELL cares about who is making what, and so on. The facxt is is that SOMEONE is making Firearms 2 true to the origanal. I know John, and he is an alright guy, and good player. So, whoever has to whinbe, saying that this is not the origanly crew, or they hacked, or whatever, if you are a fan of FA, SHUT UP, and be glad that soemoen is making a GOOD sequal, witht hte look and fell of the first.
You guys are doing a DAMN GOOD job, dont let these other bastyereds bring you down, keep it up.
