Thanks for the help, but someone on reddit solved it. Apparently since i had lurk installed before it changed some parameters in user.ltx that affected the shaders. after purging it and resetting some parameters it works perfectly now.

well, at the moment everything is at it's highest, minus vsync and sun shadows and grass shadows.
My specs:
GTX 750 Ti FTW
i5-3330 3.0 ghz
12gb ram

Initially i had it at the highes settings, however i did change it to object dynamic lighting to check if that worked, though it did not. I did try static lighting and that did fix it. however i want to play on dynamic lighting if possible.

After starting a new save for the first time, everything is incredibly dark and i can only see the hud, the sun and outlines of fences in the distance. andy ideas of what could be the issue? i've already reinstalled stalker and the mods several times.
