Taught myself how to do 3d art back in 1998. Got my first professional job in 2000 and now I'm working at Microsoft Game Studios. I've worked for multiple studios in 3 states, and shipped 3 games so far. Titles I've worked on include: - Castles & Catapults (PC) - Stacked: With Daniel Negreanu (PC, XBOX, PS2, PSP) - Forza Motorsport 3 (Xbox360) - World War II Online (PC) - Forza Motorsport 4 (Xbox360)

Cool, what part is this. Is it from the old Battlestar Galactica?

I see now, it's from the rear part of the old Galactica model.
The detail is amazing. That is why I love old scifi ships so much more than new CG ships, at least the bigger ships.

yeah there's a certain coolness factor about the physical models. You're limited in what you can do with them, but they are really nice to see.

True, but big ships usually don't do much. ;)

Description

Went to the Experience Music Project today in downtown Seattle to check out their Battlestar Galactica Exhibit. $15 entry and you get to walk around a bunch of the series props, including 3 full sized ships from the set (MKII/MKVII Viper, Cylon Raider). Neat stuff.
