This mod provides a unique experience with how it mixes retail and beta elements to its chapters(so far) MilkywayM16 did a fantastic job with this mod and I am excited for what the future holds.

This mod does have a lot of potential,but Heres what I have to say about it

Pros
The gameplay is pretty solid. I liked how you captured the atmosphere,and I could see that some spots referenced many famed wc mappack maps.

Cons
This game has a lot of things to be adressed. First off,Gman. The suit could look a little more clean,not like it came out of the dryer,without Bounce. also,gman's face is a little bit Low Quality. The underground part where you tranvel to kleiner's lab needs to be check out cause I had an issue with the level transition. Barney's Voice actor...needs more practice cause he just dosent sound right(no offense,he gave it his best) If kliner is supposed to be dead,make him look more like it,cause he looks like he was shocked by the blast,his eyes were fully open when barney was tending to him. The Citadel could also use a remodel,I feel it needs to be more....organic and alien like,dont get me wrong this one is alright,but you could make a new citadel based on the original concept art...a piece from each rendition during valve's development of the game. You should also fix the hud cause it has some icon glitches and its just WAY too small. You could also make the manhacks less like an egg and more like something that could be menacing. The HEV suit looks pretty cool...but it feels a bit bulky.Another thing is that,in the industrial portion,you could have used children,but it follows the concept pretty well.

All in all,this is a very solid mod and I cant wait to see what you guys will do next.You have my faith in this mod.

I heard of this mod before, But I normally ignored it, as I thought it would be choppy and slow on my HP Pavilion Laptop with an AMD A6 processor with Radeon graphics. However, when I downloaded this to see how good it runs, I honestly have to say. This mod took what was good about doom 3, and made it better! The Weapons sound more powerful, the map textures and normal/specular mapping look stellar, and the overall atmosphere is a much better experience than playing JUST Doom 3 by itself. It is my personal opinion that Doom 3: Redux is none the less than the finest HD mod created. I will check in with this mod later on, hungry for more!

This mod restores what the steam version got rid of. It brought back many features that made the game spectacular,the only recomendation I have for this mod would be to use the Xash3d Custom build in the shaft moddb post. That build of the engine brings back the software rendering and overbright features of the original half-life along with the cut shadows feature
