If you know how to program in C++ and understand the JKA SDK, yes. There are some things that require code, and this is one of them, it isn't a simple case of copy and paste into base.

Movie Battles 2 does not support bots or A.I. at the moment.
Are you running the mod through the mod menu, or through the launcher/included .bat file?
If you didn't install Jedi academy to the default location (the default location being wherever your Steam client is installed to) then you won't be able to run JAMP through the launcher. You'll need to go into the launcher settings and change run game with to MBII client.
There are some political implications that need to be considered before we do something like that.
You either need to update your DirectX drivers using the above included link to DirectX Run-time Web Installer or make sure that your game has elevated permission (run as administrator).
Guide has been updated as of 1/3/2016 and now includes instructions on how to optimally install the game using the MBII Launcher.
Right now I think our focus is on original trilogy locations, and characters that were part of those locations.
I meant character modeling. Story and the characters personalities and such are easy because they don't require any content, but getting those into content form are more difficult, and take quite a bit of time. Custom animations, custom models, etc.
It isn't just voice actors. Someone would need to create the SP assets, including characters and levels, which isn't something we have time for at the moment.
Because of the map that's being used it does indeed look like UT (mostly because it is). Hopefully we will have a new map to use for tests soon enough.
As far as I know we haven't planned on adding any single player support. Current and continuing focus has been multiplayer.

Indeed. We are still trying to get the core systems and mechanics of MB2 figured out for MB3, then we will ultimately start working on the more drawn out conclusion of the game. :)
There already is basic bot support, and with a new engine, there could be some surprises yet to come.
However, the question of what we want to do with BOT/NPC AI is still being discussed, so I won't hint at anything.
Eventually, however right now we're focusing on core gameplay.
It has to be. We can't make a profit off of anything LucasArts made.
Yes, we are literally building everything from the ground up.
I think there are some problems with Steam + Desura. I ran a couple of tests to see if it was possible, but for some reason desura installs to the incorrect location. It's better off if you download the mod from moddb, extract all of the containing files to C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/jedi academy/GameData, and have Desura search around for it.
Read the installation instructions for specifics on running the game using the Steam version of Jedi Academy.
Can you elaborate a little? Did you install the 1.01 patch? Are you sure you have the latest release? (Movie Battles II v0.0.1 is the latest client side release)
Right click on jamp.exe in your GameData folder, hit "Properties at the bottom", select the compatibility tab and check "Run as administrator."
Some server owners have disallowed multiple connections from a single IP. You'll need to contact them, asking them to increase the number of identical connections.
They do work on a pirated version of the game, because all the pirated version is, is an ISO image of the DVD itself. But that doesn't mean you should pirate it. Again, support the game you play, if you think it really is worth it. :)
We recommend you not pirate it... Buying it for $10 on Steam is the easiest way to get it fast and cheap. It's not that you can do it, it's that you shouldn't. Support the game you play.
You can buy it on Steam for $10. Currently one of the better prices around, unless you're willing to get a copy off Amazon.
We didn't make it, no, but we did have permission to use it. If I remember correctly, it's part of a customization pack that was made and released, so it isn't ported.
Starkiller was removed because it was too poly heavy and caused crashes with certain hilts equipped. Until a lower poly version is made, there will be no Starkiller model.
As for the clone pilot, searching around our forums may provide you with an answer.
There are NO ported models in Movie Battles.
If you read the models/maps readme included with the installation, you can see who made what model.
