i disagree, the first members of the covenent were the san shyuum, it should be their homeworld that is used(even though it was destroyed) but it could use a similar planet?

Forerunners, and just so you know, the forerunners fought against impossible odds for over a thousand years, granted they lost, but they fought the good fight.
the central part is the landing platform, BUT it is also a ship, the forerunners used hard light to constitute their ships, the ship above is the same model as the ship used by truth. However the ship seen in halo 2-3 is an "war" mode, whereas the ones seen in halo legends are in a standard mode.

the shield worlds were like the halos, they saw anything that attacked them as a threat and killed it, even the forerunners, that was how they were built and programmed, if a flood ship came in range the sentinels would attack and destroy it, however if a forerunner ship came in range they would not attack it, but if the ship attacked any sentinel or tried to damage the construct then they would be destroyed, same concept for the UNSC and the covenent. The covenent were any unknown entity and destroyed in the books, whereas the humans were left alone, until they accidently triggered the sentinels into attacking them.What i am trying to says is that perhaps it could be a capturable planet, but only to the forerunners and humans, but will still attack them if they attacked the planet if it was owned by the opposing faction, whether it be human or forerunner. And since all of the shield worlds were connected than it stands to reason that all other shield worlds would attack the faction that attacked the shield world and in the case that that faction was in control of a shield world, they would immediatly lose control of it and be attacked.
by definition the forerunners should be overpowered, however their weakness seen in the books, was that they did not create sufficient fleet to combat particulars threats, so yes they should be overpowered, but in context, it should work out.
hi, with the forerunners, are you going to be making the unique forerunner aspects, i.e. shield worlds such as onyx, if so than the use of any tactical slots on a planet such as this would be null, as the planet defends itself with its trillion strong army of sentinels. As well as this, will you be including other forerunner defence's such as the key ship defence.
that is actually a sangheili cruiser, the covenent had no real military, just the combined military's of races they had assimilated.

Hey guys, this mod looks great, but with the forerunners, if your are looking for new ships, read Halo: Cryptum, and the new one, Halo: Primordium by Greg Bear, it has some very good ship ideas, including the fortress ship, you may already know this but like most people i am too impatient to search through all 393 pages of comments, but like i said good ideas, maybe you could even incorporate certain plot elements such as the san shyuum.
