Um - So when you start a MP match with someone who doesn't have the Forbidden Worlds DLC what happens? You send 1gigs worth of content on the fly before the match? o.0

And when I say rumors I do of course refer to my wildest hopes and dreams.

I'm not sure - Though I've been following your/mindwipes/max's updates and I'm sure one of you has mentioned at least once that the DLC is a must. I could be wrong :P

(Confirmation the mod is required is on page 4/5 of this discussion thread). As far as I know the authors of this mod will not release a non-DLC version so make sure you pick this up.

I'm sure the author of this mod will indulge you further but from what I can make out this mod looks, on the face of things, to work with higher quality models than SOA2. (The 'Voyager' ship, for example, looks noticeably more accurate.

The "warp" animations are also new to this mod.

I don't have a comprehensive list of differences but, in any case, two teams working on different mods of the same genre seems to me to be a good thing, if anything.
