Assumed it would be the case, but i also thought it might be because gandalf had just spawned in my campaign. Which would be too early in this update, and my campaign had not gone +15 turns, meaning it might of caused some weird limbo. Anyways, all looks good, keep up the great work :)

Is v2.2 compatible with old save files of campaigns played on v2.1?

I have an 'aragon' ( pls dont hate, dont know faction name :) ) about turn 40-45 and an Izengard campaign, about turn 100. That both throw up a Medieval total war error when I try to load.

Hey,

So firstly this is my first time playing any Third age content gotta say so far really like it.

However I have an annoying bug where i do not have any city details on the campaign map. ( shown in image, hopefully) However when i hover over the city the details appear.

Pretty sure its a noob mistake on my part but any help would be greatly appreciated as its kinda a pain in the ***.

Issue with adding more units is that unless you use the Alexander expansion there is a hard cap on unit varieties. Its a big shame really.

As this mod was codded to the vanilla game that would mean a lot of work and effort. And as alway, rl gets in the way.

The developer is always open to new ideas and suggestions, best thing to do is leave them here ( as a sort of review) or DM him.

Glad to see you are enjoying the mod though, personal suggestion, try Britannia. Made for quite a fun campaign for myself as the Romans , Greeks, Egyptians and Cathage are all built up by the time you reach them. Made for some fun battles.

Really sorry about such a delayed response. The developer has been really busy with rl at the moment.

To install this mod all you have to do is click the 'download now' button.

This will install a zip file, extract the zip file into the location of your rtw folder.

Then double click on the RTWE-2 application.

Unless im missing something, (did not write the mod just play it). The rest is done for you, and you should see a new RTWE short cut on your desktop.

Hey, So I love the idea for the mod and so started playing a Rome campaign, after playing for a while the save eventually was corrupted, and so could no longer 'continue campaign' and had not actually saved in a while, oppz my bad. So have little information I can offer you there :/ .

So having played RTW on/off for many years knew where to go to unlock all factions vie text manipulation, ( as i could not be bothered to restart a Rome campaign, as, tbh, they are pretty simple.)

However in my new Britannia campaign I get constant crashing, on reloading I can continue, go a few more turns before a crash occurs again. Crashes normally occur as i transition from campaign view into battle view, and a few times during turn rotation round the AI.

Just wondered if you had any information on the matter. Having done some codding in the past I know that in unlocking all the factions i might have conflicted files in your system.

Thanks for any help you can give. If I get it working I would be very happy to play through a few campaigns and leave you advice for further 'enhancing.'

Ps.

Things i have noticed in my Britannia campaign ( again i moded the moded files a little ( unlocking all factions) so might have screwed things up. Cant see how it would of done so myself but i am aware it is always a situation.)

-Britannia can not build an archery range, yet if they conquer a town with an archery range they can build archers and chosen archers.

-All forces I command as Britannia have the 'peasant' formation, this includes cav, mercenaries, archers and warriors. ( this is not a super bad thing, so if it is done by design then I do think its kinda cool but with chariots can be a little annoying )

-As you can purchase warlords ( generals) I think it would be cool if you got to choose what they came as e.g. for Britannia foot vs chariots, know this would not be a simple change, as is just personal taste.

-As everyone starts at peace I find that the only factions that go to war early ( only played through twice so it could of just been my run through ) are the Seleucid Empire vs THE WORLD xD. Would be cool if some factions started at war, entice more interesting events as you ( the player) move across the world.
