If you mean resolution, I'm not sure why, but i guess 2560x1440 stretches the display and distorts the textures? I really dont know. But it was driving me crazy for an hour trying to figure out what happened. I think they can be set as high as you want in the config file.

Replace The following parameters with the ones here in your doomconfig file:

seta image_downSizeLimit "1024"
seta image_ignoreHighQuality "0"
seta image_downSizeBumpLimit "1024"
seta image_downSizeSpecularLimit "64"
seta image_downSizeBump "1"
seta image_downSizeSpecular "1"

Also If you have your resolution set to 2560x1440 or something it actually looks like ****. regular 1900x1200 looks fantastic even on a wider moniter. This is the solution that worked for me anyway. Hope it helps.

VG have you heard from you mapper lately? I don't want to sound like an ******* but it could be years before he picks this back up again. Do you maybe have an alternative plan if that is the case?
