Yeah. It's too bad the Battletech series never got a big enough following. Otherwise who knows what could have been created. I'm still waiting for a Battletech movie, MechCommander 3, 4, 5, etc. Preferably with longer and more in depth campaigns.

I had the same issue. Took me a while to figure out. I've posted how I sorted it here. Mwomercs.com

Thanks for the great upload. It took me a while but I finally got it running smoothly. So I just wanted to share my findings in case it might help anyone.

I'm running on a Amazon.com

I had a very annoying Graphics issue to begin with, which was the same through all my MechCommander 2 installations. I tried MC2 with and without Wolfman X patch, Wolfman MC2X, and MC Omnitech 424, and I could not figure out why the issues persisted.

In the end I posted a thread on the MechWarrior Online Forums and I had a bit of help. I've posted all my findings here Mwomercs.com

For those too impatient to read through it. This is what worked for me, after messing around for days, and maybe will help you.

"MechCommander 2 (MechCommander.org original ISO release)
1) Installed it and ran it as Admin (no other compatibility changes, did not delete badcard.csv, vidcard.csv, or anything else)
2) Runs perfectly

MechCommander Omnitech 424:
1) Installed it and ran it as Admin. Still had the same issue as before.
2) Copied the badcard.csv and vidcard.csv from my MechCommander 2 installation folder, into the MechCommander Omnitech 424 installation folder.
3) Ran it as Admin again (no other compatibility changes)
4) Runs like a dream.

Wolfman MC2-X Standalone
1) Installed it and ran it as Admin. Same issue as before.
2) Copied the badcard.csv and vidcard.csv from my MechCommander 2 installation folder, into the Wolfman MC2-X installation folder.
3) Ran it as Admin again (no other compatibility changes)
4) Runs like a dream.

Next I'm gonna try to get the Wolfman-X patch for the regular MechCommander 2 installation to work. That's the only one this fix doesn't seem to work on for me. So I'll keep you guys updated."
