Well, I graduated from Full Sail University in September of 2008 with my BS in Game Development. After not being able to find a job for months I decided I should do something on my own. I began working with a friend and fellow graduate at Full Sail on the game Turba for PC back in March 2009. It originally began as a game for the Android phone, but that lasted about a week after we realized we knew how to do nothing with their platform and were more comfortable with C++ :D. I am hoping our game does well so that we can continue making indie games and make our own studio. We have a lot of neat ideas ;).

Thanks for the specific list. One of the bigger problems we've had as far as the music goes is what to do with long sections of elevated frequency, like thrashing sections in metal songs as an example. It is hard to distinguish what is actually a "beat". There is a longer delay thrown in there so there aren't a ridiculous amount of false beats. Doing that makes it trigger at wrong times though like you were probably experiencing. I'll do whatever I can to at least make it a little better :D. I'm glad you enjoyed a lot of songs though.
