Great fun so far exploring the Cordon, but is anyone else experiencing extremely long load times? I'm running a decent I7 gaming laptop with 8 gigs of ram, unparked cores and plenty of hd space yet it takes 5+ minutes to start a new game/load a save.
I also have to add the heli patrols are extremely annoying. Are they there to cover the army barricade at the rail bridge? It would be better if they summoned for help if you attack them, not have this annoying mi-24 spamming the skies 24/7.
Also, hitting escape takes at least 1-2 minutes to bring up the menu screen. Is there anything I can do to increase load times? The game itself runs great, but I couldn't get good FPS with dx10 dynamic lighting, which is surprising but Stalker games have never been known to be optimized.
