*SPOILER* Finally found it. It's in a crater, in the water, in the north end (north = top of the map) of the swamp, almost due north of where the PDA marker is. Just line yourself up with the PDA marker and walk north, you'll walk right over it, after walking through an anomaly of course.

Strangely, it wasn't in a rucksack, just floating in the water.

Really frustrating trying to get 2.2 up and running again. 2 issues:

1. There was a patch to start in Zaton. I cannot for the life of me find that patch now. The link in the 160+++ page GSC Game World thread is dead. Is that patch still alive somewhere?

2. "Find the unusual Artifact". When I played this before, I remember the scientist guy on the Skadovsk sending me to a hillside near the sawmill to find this artifact in a psy/chem anomaly. This time, the guy sends me to the swampy area with the helicopter, north of the antenna complex. The map marker is smack in the middle of that area. I've been all over it and can't find that artifact. Is this a bug? I hope not...I'm kind of stuck at that point until I bring the guy his stupid artifact.

Any words of wisdom?
