I'm pretty happy to see the team is still going with JKG! I'll need to stop by the Twitch stream sometime and say hi. :)

Well, I'm obviously not Alex.. but I figured I'd answer this for you anyway! No, SJC is not a developer on the JKG team.. he was a while ago, but for various reasons he is no more, nor is any of his work featured in the mod. Never fear though, we have a large team of equally good, or arguably better mappers (especially in terms of performance optimisation, which is paramount in a mod such as this) dedicating their time and effort to this project, and so you can expect to see some fantastic level design. ;)

Pay to Play? No, it will be free to download and to play. :)

Unfortunately, we cant give you any release date information at the moment. There's still too much work to do, to estimate accurately.

There seems to have been a brain malfunction by some team members, so there was a different image uploaded as the POTW previously. However, it's been removed, and this is the correct one for this week. Sorry for the confusion guys.

This is our latest 'Picture of the Week', and just so there is no confusion, this picture does not actually represent any real event that you can expect in JKG. Neither kyle or malak will be in JKG, and the Taris you see in the picture is from the KOTOR era as seen in our Taris trailer, and of course the Taris you will see in JKG is 4000 years after its destruction, so you can definately expect it to be a much much different place.

This picture was just taken as a bit of fun, and you can expect all sorts of random images from the dev's like this one each week (thats the plan anyway, hence the name 'picture of the week').

The Taris you will see and explore in JKG will be very different to anything you have seen thus far, all you have seen so far is the recreation of Taris from during the KOTOR era, which was primarily made for a competition on JK3files, and secondly used as a trailer to announce that Taris will be included in Jedi Knight Galaxies. However, as I have said, what you have seen so far, and what will actually be in JKG, are very different, since 4000 years have past.

We have a lot of plans for Taris, but I will not go into details about them at this time. Suffice to say, it will be a very new experience even for those who visited and explored Taris in KOTOR.

Don't forget guys, the developers are constantly discussing the mod, and ideas on our official forum, so if you dont want to just wait for developer diaries, then register on our forum and be up-to-date with all the latest chat about JKG!

I have uploaded some model concepts which are under construction by HellKobra for the Zabrak species, these are not the final design, but they represent what the final models 'could' look like. Enjoy! :)
