The tiberian-genesis.net server got hacked.
Looks like we can expect a long downtime for now.
Good news is that our build is safe.
Bad news is that our forums, website and management systems are gone...

I completely understand what you mean. Maybe this text was a bit too fastly written.
Changed it to "could" now.
The game is called Crysis Warhead and it includes Crysis Wars + the serial for it.
Yes, the current gamemode which we are using for testing is pretty similiar to the Renegade one.
We will check out the free CryEngine3 SDK when it got released. And if the code can be ported easily, why not become standalone too?
This was a shot of an early grow state of the Tiberium (at the beginning of the game round), later in the game, it will get more dense automatically because of our dynamically growing system.
We still got no video guy, and our PR manager doesn't want to release screenshots only. So yes, it will take more time, sorry.
Buggies are just Techlevel 2, and we are working on every techlevel at the moment as you see. The idea about getting only Techlevel 1 done is not working, because we need more than just infantry for interesting enough gameplay. We've got quite some vehicles and buildings of higher techlevels working already (not finished model and texture wise) but they are quite nice to play around with.
Yes, it is shooting and yes, we are still alive. ^^
Who said that we aren't?
Nope, this is the DropShip. ^^
We could need some help, our last video guy disappeared with unfinished business and we are looking for someone with a strong enough computer (Very High Spec) and good video recording skills now. As far as I can tell, the TiberiumSystem is done and a lot of new features have been integrated too already.
Damn, I wish that our video would have been done already...
But atm we are encountering annoying problems, my own hardware can't handle video recording + good enough quality and TeamWolf has big problems with his system too.
Anyone with a strong enough system, good video recording/editing skills and an original Crysis Wars (required for MP) would be welcome to help us out.
Just PM me.
Yes, there is quite some progress, but I want to wait till we've got something final to show off.
I hope we can presentate you our TiberiumSystem soon which we had to optimize like hell in the last time.
But we could need some help in the PR and management section at first.
We've still got a lot of open positions.
Nah, we are not dead, but we've got not enough quality content for an update yet. There is a lot of stuff in progress at the moment. Don't worry. ^^
You will need Crysis Wars which comes with Crysis Warhead to play this.
So with Crysis only, the actual code won't work because it was patched to Crysis Wars 1.5 already.
You can fight intensive battles in the Powerplant if you want to destroy it very fast or use the common stuff f.e. Tick Tanks etc. to get the building down. ^^
The first techlevels are heavily in development right now.
But still a lot to do, interiors need to be textured, gameplay elements coded and implemented etc.
Nothing released yet though, only thing missing for our next trailer is more players for our MP alpha. ^^
Damn I was lucky. ^^
Became a n00b in games already, too much interruptions when I want to play something. :P
Because the original Crysis won't be patched anymore, so we were forced to move to Crysis Wars which will constantly be patched and supported by Crytek in the future.
Danke :-)
Naja, es gibt eine Möglichkeit, das Terrain zu verformen.
Ist aber noch ziemlich buggy da es Objekte nicht mit runtersetzt.
Mal gucken, was uns dafür noch so einfällt, evtl. über ein Decal und dann die Position für weitere Gebäude blocken.
Currently a bit slow because of the Crysis Wars SDK and its source code changes.
But we are on it and will release an update when everything is working on the new Crysis Wars engine again.
Ist das alles was dir dazu einfällt?
Das hilft uns echt mal weiter...
Wie wärs mit ein bisschen konstruktiver Kritik?
Thx, we´ve put a lot of effort into this update, and had professional help of Roy Shapira, Game Designer and Creative Director of the Petrograd Mod.
Hmm, the CryEngine2 offers a lot of possibilities, much more than our last engines would ever have.
Why don´t you try it out at first?
The Demo already has the Sandbox with which you could play around a bit.
And btw, we will move to Crysis Warhead as soon as their SDK is out, so our modification will be playable and especially much more scalable for low-end and high-end computers then too.
We are working on a new gametype in the moment, if we don´t manage to release it with our own assets, then maybe as a standalone. ;)
Yep, that was the plan.
Currently it´s a bit slow in the modelling/texturing section, but our coders prepared some awesome stuff.
Yeh, nice tutorial, we´re using a Trac/SVN system too.
It saves us a lot of time and makes the playtests really easy.
^^ the official Crydocs...
I already know these, but I´m using my own way of setting up assets.
Check your e-mail.
After a proper texture, proxy, wheels and vehiclescript setup it´s drivable now. ^^
But don´t expect much of it, looks like it needs a lot of tweaking, or maybe even a new vehicletype code.
Have fun :)
We are using 3ds Max, Blender and XSI.
But we have some importing problems with Blender right now...
