Did a couple suggestions in the last box - really hope to get back into the beta testing if I can. Damn summers and their unpredictable schedules.
Probably an orb. Just a rough guess, it's not like orbs are mentioned in both the title and the description.
The CROW-bar. I get it.
The cutting was a bit poor and was very obvious in the beginning, and the audio quality was awful.
Did you rip it from YouTube? He has a download for it on his site, if I remember correctly.
Laituurian Unobtanium Mining.
'bout time, guys :P
Good for Crytek, the modding industry will explode in popularity even more.
Great concept, fits the style.
On my computer, it opened up about 500 java windows and froze for a few minutes.
I'd love to participate - I've beta tested in the past for both Eternal Silence and the Orion Source mod.
I don't understand why everyone is so upset about a mod going retail. That's not a moment to be angry, that's good news.
Stop being upset that you're going to be "forced" to pay a well-deserving developer a (most likely) budget price for a fantastic work of art like this game. It's like all the people complaining about the lack of Minecraft updates - stop being so self-righteous and be gracious that Briscoe is even remaking this in the first place.
Seems Desura didn't include the english translation update. I downloaded it from ModDB and now it works fine.
Desura download seems broken - the subtitles are all useless (#intro_aspik, #door1) making the game unplayable, as it's impossible to figure out what you're supposed to be doing.
Fix please? It looks fantastic, and I don't want to miss out on it.
Indie games are games made by independent studios. Budget isn't taken into account. Popularity isn't. Profit isn't. These competitions are all about how GOOD the game is.
Minecraft is a completely unique game. Amnesia is the best horror game in years. Super Meat Boy is a fantastic platformer. All of them are excellent - it doesn't matter how much money they made.
It clearly says it's any game made without financial support of a publisher. Minecraft and all the games in these competitions fit this definition.
God, I've gotta beat Oblivion and then try Nehrim. It looks fantastic.
He could be simple and call it "The Underworld" or "The Place Filled With Evil Monsters, Fire, And **** Like That."
Yeah, I know, I was joking.
Just beat it.
I loved it. Definitely the best indie FPS I've played in years.
Hey, I found an easter egg.
Looks like even indies are falling for in-game advertising nowadays...
Looks fantastic, tracking.
"Bullets are flying everywhere. Agent Michael Scarn kicks open the plane door with a karate chop."
All you need is a Catherine Zeta Jones.
I want to play this, but I'm too much of a pussy.
/indev/ is the oldest paid version, with crafting and limited maps. It isn't updated anymore.
/infdev/ is the same as /indev/, just with a few more items and infinite maps.
/game/ is /infdev/ with more mobs, snow, items, crafting stuff, etc.
Now that I've listened to it a bit more, it fits in more naturally. It just stuck out to me on my first listen for some reason.
Wow, ******* great.
That ding-ding-ding doesn't really fit in much, though. It needs to be deeper and darker-sounding.
Wow, awesome! Hope it all turns out well for you guys :D
