This week I spent redoing some of the parking lot area so it would fit with the rest of the level as this was the very first area I did when I restarted work on this map a year ago. The area is designed as a last main base to defend with one way in and out. As this is a vehicle level I made sure the access was smooth for those types of attacks. There is a dump truck parked inside which can be used as a last stand to try and keep the enemy from breaking through the parking lot entrance bottle neck, but when they do all hell should break loose between the parked cars. This main base will be used for both teams, this one shows the Vanguard side which has blue markers (as Vanguard is the blue team) and the other will have red markers on the parking lot walls (as red is the Rogues team color).
The other set of images I'm showing has been completed a few months ago which is a subway entrance. This area gives access to the elevated subway station and trains above. As the train station is placed and used as the central spawn this area is used twice, once for both sides of the map. The staircase leading up to the station should become a nice battleground for the central spawn area, when breached action will continue on the train station platforms and inside the trains. A lot of the assets made for this area were posted a while ago in in my blog post: "saving texture memory and time".
