Awesome game, I was at the part where one of the animals tells you his friend got kidnapped, so I go to the next area, and as I was climbing up at the beginning after saving, I went backwards over a ledge and fell outside of the level and kept going down watching the background change into some weird stuff until I got an error window.

Anyways, I love the fact that everyone talks to you. Gives the game more life. Love the features you're adding, party system, inventory, Level up system, I forgot what else I saw, but man keep this going!! The character selection is a big deal to me, lots of replay value on that alone. Just watching these unique looking characters you created in action.

Most of all, the reason I play this, even though I'm not familiar with all the Sonic universe, it's about the feel of this game, just like the first one! Please add more and more dystopian visuals going into the wildlife levels making you feel Robotnik is taking over completely moving in bases for capturing animals or whatever he does. Like lots of robotic evils moving in the background and birds trying to escape as you're advancing through the forest levels. What made me love the first game instantly was the level that looked like an oppressed gritty city, just overrun by machines and loudspeakers going off letting you know Robotnik owns this city. Really immersing hearing those sounds and I can't forget the background visuals, you added lots of stuff flying around showing a world alive from afar, awesome... Well, I can barely remember SN 1, but I think I know what I'm talking about :D

All this excitement for a fan game. You're gonna finish it, right ;)

Yeah, there are plenty of enemies to be added. Each zone will have 5 different enemy types, with a few reappearing in different zones. I need to update the site which hasn't been touched in a while.

Some of the zones are easy to fall out of if climbing the outer walls. I'll block those walls in to prevent that from happening. The new features are still being played with. Next update will have a far better save system which will be automatic on default along with the player maker. Most of the characters are done, but haven't been placed in the game.

There are definitely some strange levels in the works, such as Chao Gardens with ideas borrowed from Lavender Town and Lower Mobius with ideas from Aphex Twin's Window Licker. The more the player explores, the more abstract the levels will become. I think you're referring to either the Island of Nimbus or Robotropolis. There's going to be a lot going on within all the stages. An interlinking train system for one.

I'll be sure to finish it, although the updates have been slow. Thanks for checking it out!

Hey, bluewario =D I've been busy mostly working on SN2. I'm still trying to lay out the foundation for the last handful of zones. There are still a good 10 to go. Aside from that, I've been working on Sonic CB. Once these two games are done, I want to start something fresh and original.
