Modwork and... blog - iqew

... a new version of the blogdesign!

Yesterday I've started a thread to apply for some modteams to finally get back to real modwork. Also, I got a little frustrated again (!) when I started working for the first project, haha. That guy just wanted me to do some environment sketch, desert with some industry and I failed. After that I just started a whine thread to get rid off my frustration, didn't take too long actually. When I was in the bathroom everything seemed good again.

Now, today I went to the university library and just looked for some books about drawing. Found one really compact, talking about Michelangelo and his studies and masters and blah. I wasn't too interested in the text, to be honest, hehe. But I was amazed by most of the beautiful works in there and I think I'm going to try out some watercolor sketches. Looks so cool, at least when some masters do it.

After sitting around in the uni for about an hour, looking through all the images, I did some quick sketches in my sketchbook, but I felt really uncomfortable. I didn't want to stare at the people to draw the stuff behind them, but there were people everywhere. So I just went back home and talked to some more modguys and did that forest environment. These guys have concept art, but it's pretty low quality, so I didn't really care about, whether it sucks balls or not. And tadaaa, the result isn't even that bad. I helped myself with some photos, but you got to start somewhere?!

What do you think about the compromise I did for the blogdesign - everyone is happy now or should I just drop that designing my blog idea? Please tell me in the comments!
