...week and 2 days until christmas vacations! I can't wait to have as much time for art as I want to. I think I'm going to draw a lot then and will do a lot of perspective skill training. I'm having trouble with the easiest things and I HAVE TO master perspective, it is so important!! Arrrrgh, I wish I had started training that earlier. That's a cool wish for christmas, but I don't think it's possible to receive :D
However, I can start in the vacations - making that wish come true at least a little bit. I always dream about being good at perspective, it rocks so much, I can't wait!!
But, it's a hard job to master perspective, it will take years, but I hope that I can improve fast enough to get good sketches done early. So, it's more fun then to really see things starting to work out and it would motivate me so much.
By the way, I am really proud of the explosion in the image "I'M UNDER ATTACK!!!" it is my first completely self drawn explosion ever and I didn't use any reference and I think that it looks pretty good. That's really cool, I think that there will follow a few more sketches or even final results with explosions, steam, smoke and all that kind of reaaaaaaaaally cool stuff! :)
Also, I started sketching with photoshop using only black and white and it also was a cool experience I will keep working on that! It is really fun to explore shapes and forms (and it would be even cooler if I only was good at perspective *sigh* )
