One of a kind experience, with classic half-life think, shoot, live gameplay. The level design is literally out of this world, the whole mod is a very high quality craft, and I knew that it had a lot of potential after finishing the demo years ago. Hope to see a sequel some day, perhaps.
Unique, fun, very lore-like, and just pure awesome. This is one of those expansion style mods with their own story arc. Great modders shall never stop these masterpieces from being made.
I would give it a 9.4, simply because the development team outdid themselves on this one, just like the ones with EZ2, but... the missing 0.6 points are for a basic reason...
There isn't much interaction and dialog near both endings, while minimum dialog during engagement with Bec wasn't even an issue at all.
I would've loved if Victor's emotions spewed out more when deciding on whether to join the Traitor leader, and help Bec join them with flashbacks on their journey.
Not everyone is Aiden, but I think the dialog could've been a bit more saturated!

EZ2 should be nominated for MOTY 2022. The lore expansion, the gameplay, the experience... None of this merits a positive review in words. This is something that Valve would make official, so I will go ahead and recognize EZ2 as canon.
Too late on this one, but everybody waited for it and finally got it. It was clear as day ever since we stumbled upon the first screenshots since day one of this mod being presented here that It's gonna be one of the best fan-made expansions. The stunning mapping is no clickbait. It sets an alternate point of view of black mesa how It's supposed to be.
Exceptional storyline with many plot twists and cliff hangers. This has to be the best puzzle-themed half-life mod ever.
ETC I and ETC II as one, is truly a hidden gem of its era.
Brought into the shoes of Gordon Freeman in a different timeline serving the same resonance cascade survival deeds.
The atmosphere is a true Half-Life experience featuring breathtaking mapping and detail.
For any other run think shoot live fan, this is the right mod.
Make sure you start playing from ETC I then get ETC II.
