When I started using the sniper / bow it was rough. It has different firing characteristics depending on how long you hold it and how fast you release. Arrows run out faster too...
With some practice, you can pull off headshots faster than the rifles - no scope! And the satisfaction level is through the roof once you master this.
There's nothing else in the game quite like a long range headshot with the bow.
