Check out www.stargatetls.net - These maps were made while the community waited for the release of this mod!

Make sure you install it into your sourcemods folder, for example on my pc this is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods

The installer creates a new folder in your sourcemods folder called 'tls'.

Once the installer is finished just restart steam and launch the game from your steam list!

If you own Counter-Strike Source you do not need anything else :)

If you purchase 1 Half-Life 2 or Source game you get access to something called Source SDK Base in the Tools section of steam. This is what you need to play most mods including Stargate : The Last Stand!

You will need to own one Half-Life 2 Game. Be it Orange box, or original half-life or CounterStrike Source :)

Thanks for your comments, they really help us. The trailer shows a early alpha of the game and there are many places where polish need to be added.
I don't think the rings jump to the left, they do a "bounce" effect like in the series which isn't quite smooth, gives a weird illusion along with the camera.

The mod will have multiplayer to begin with and Solo will then be added.

I believe TLS is one of, if not the longest standing Half-Life 2 mod.

I noticed the mod was archived yesterday and its now un-archived. The moddb rep didn't know why i was archived :S

There will be a beta soon, we just have to polish a couple things off, we are looking for a couple Modelers, Mappers, Anyone who is good with photoshop and also a coder if anyone is interested ^^

These would help us develop more cool stuff more quickly.

There was a problem with our server that our host has now fixed.
This was the cause of the down-time and slow-ness of the site. Our forum & website is now very speedy :)

Our mod only uses settings from the series, the story is not related to atlantis or the SG-1 series directly, we have our own ideas and want to express them, we are not just copying any of the series ! Making a mod is not an instant thing dude. We are doing our best and aim to have at least 1 item of ingame media for each news post, which we also supplied with this one, if you want to see more in-game content please view old news posts on our forum and / or the screenshots in our ModdB profile.
