Did you get any of the sounds from their original versions? Like with Doom a bunch of them are stock sounds and you can find them in higher quality online if you look carefully enough, or in some Sound Ideas or Hollywood Edge releases (most likely General 6000 and Premiere Edition respectively)

Is there a chance that you might rewrite the SSR shader to one that supports varying roughness, like in UE4 and most other 3D games now? I think you could model it slightly after qUINT/Pascal Gilcher's screen space GI effect for ReShade, specifically the GGX/specular part? And possibly also intermix that with the diffuse via fresnel?

Are you using more DX11 features?
And also replace the water planes with FluidSurfaceActors, which take advantage of tesselation.

If there's Lightmass, can you please use it? I really like to see many maps with GI.
And are you using displacement mapping?

oh yeah I wonder how will brutes look like in UT3.
I think you should make the old monsters about the same poly count as most UT3 models.
And an idea for a cool sounding feature: There might be an option, or a gametype that extends invasion, or something else, that adds something to give it more of an Unreal I feeling, as well as bring more urgency to defeat the coming waves: add Nali's around the map (maybe the same way you added the old invasion monsters), and make it so that every Nali killed lowers your score, so another aim would be to prevent war crime.
