In short, WTF is dead. I'm not doing nor plan on doing anything neither with it, nor with stalker in general. Just coming here sometimes, reading stuff people wrote.

Cool, right? It would have crashed your game in 3.6. I thought such soft crashes are 100x less annoying than having to restart your game.

Hey ya pussies, here's WTF 3.7. I added shadowvoid's zombied fix, re-enabled vanilla medic quests, made it crash a bit less. Don't wanna upload it until a few people say it's somewhat stable, because I literally don't remember what's there. GT Task pack looks fine, other ones I don't know.

Just for clarity: you can enable every quest disabled by basegame task pack this way. DLTX made it way easier than what I had before.

I'm actually impressed. Good analysis, and an actual fix.
Zombified faction was forgotten in GhenTuong's Tasks, which this addon evolved from (all the way in 2020). No one ever brought that up, so it was never fixed.

If you could drop me a Pull Request on github, I'll merge your fix. Although, I don't know if new version of Tasks will ever release... I can only tell that it's still in the back of my mind, but I don't have ideas so good it will motivate me again.

Here's a clue for you: it is Utjan's fetch counter. Update it, he fixed the incompatibility in new version.

Like, some kill quests for mechanics, fetch quests for butcher and ecologs, scouting quests for random quest givers, maybe something else. Just install it and check out, installing is free, uninstalling should be too now.

Pretty sure it is a problem with outdated WTF - in last version I reworked the thing quite a bit to avoid these kinds of crashes. WTF compatibility update not soon tho - have irl stuff, so maybe in March.

autocomplete kinda not supported, I guess
UPD: took a look, unlucky here - can't do anything on my side, starting with WTF 3.4 autocomplete is a hard conflict. Can only be fixed on autocomplete's side.
UPD2: Tosox released a better autocomplete which works with WTF

3: это лучше тогда сделать через коллбек. Что-нибудь вроде "xp_on_before_giving(action_type, value)" чтобы value можно было в коде менять. Множители это дело слишком статичное.

Хорошая идея, есть пара минорных проблем в исполнении:
1. experience.ltx перенести в MCM и удалить конфиг полностью: легче расширять, легче настраивать, легче всем.
2. perk_importer.ltx вовсе не нужен, конфиги слишком статичные. Проси у имплементеров чтобы они сами добавляли свои конфиги в твою табличку: быстрее, динамичнее, больше контроля. Можно проверять, что у перка есть все необходимые поля. Меньше кода.
3. Капы и множители из experience_core.script тоже должны быть в mcm, дай пользователям играться
4. Формула повышения уровня захардкожена в функции - плохо. Лучше отдельную функцию, чтобы было видно и можно было запатчить.

В целом написано классно, мне понравилось. Есть небольшие косяки в коде (неопытность?), но все понятно и читабельно. Респект.

Yeah, pretty much - there are tasks in this addon that are using WTF. You could also remove them or rewrite them in vanilla tasks, but as is better not remove WTF

Any other task packs? If not - enable debug mode for WTF and paste full logs after crash on pastebin. I might as well fix it.

UPD 2: Took some time to finalize and polish the addon. Every bug should be fixed now, community task pack should work, friendship is magic etc. Feel free to report bugs, I will fix them, although I won't work on new features or quests.
