I have an idea to improve the Orcs Of The Misty Mountains.
Isn't it a little bit illogical that those goblin-like creatures which don't really seem to be very clever and organized are able to build i. e. catapults which I know are difficult to build.
So couldn't trolls which throw stones onto the gates be added?
The catapult would still be there but it would look like a stone-throwing-troll.
The animation shouldn't be a problem. I know that the animation for trolls comes from ordinary infantry so they could just take the movement of some javelin thrower.
I think it would be a nice little improvement but I don't know whether it would really work. What do u think?

When the battering ram opens the gate, a wall gets destroyed or the general is killed there is some kind of a short movie which shows it again, right?

So my problem is now that sometimes (not everytime) the game crashes and says: "Medieval total war 2 has encountered a problem and will now shut down."

Can anyone help?

I think The Orcs of Gundabad are added because of the balance. I the nothern
regions there are just the orcs of the misty mountains against The Dwarves, Silvan Elves, High Elves and now the much stronger Eriador/Arnor. So I hope The Orcs of Gundabad will be a quite strong faction and the power of the ootmm will be increased.

Yes u know: in the Silmarillion they are described as much smaller and also weaker than the one which appears in the movie. And this Balrog is a interpretation of Peter Jackson not of Tolkien. I think KK an co had to decide whether they take the original one or the one from the movie and they chose the original one probably as trailhog 250 said because of the balance.

The question now is how long it will take till it's down again. :P

Okay probably I didn't spell it right. I just wanted to say that there is a hotseat campaign where the big advantage is that u don't have to connect two computers 'cause u play at the same. And I didn't write u have to calculate the battles against AI. I just wrote when u fight AGAINST EACH OTHER. xD

It's a multiplayer mode in which u can play with a friend at the SAME computer. U do alternately ur turns, while the other one is waiting (quite annoying). But if ur enough patient it's quite funny u can do the campaign together or against each other although that takes VERY much time.
Another thing is that u can't fight ur battles against each other on the battlemap u have to let it be calculated by the computer :( and that the point why I would play it online. (if I had a unused serial code :P).

I just know that on my computer it's DELETE to centre the camera on the general and vice versa. :)

I don't think the patch will be released earlier just because twcenter is going to be online again. :(

It's written in German but the content is the same as in twcenter and if the mod would be released while twcenter is still down u could download it there.

Yeah great ideas but we shouldn't forget how long it took them to make 2.0.
I just think our expectations are getting bigger and bigger. So before we start to discuss about even more units and possibilities we should first hope that the 2.0 is bug-free 'cause that would already be great thing when u think how huge this patch is.
