Ok, Not sure why but I can't get into "Options LA" but I hunted through the console and found "g_actor_body" I set it to off and the legs disappeared and the footstep sounds appeared immediately.

Would you please tell me how to disable the legs. I couldn't find a setting in the options menu. Is there a console command? Also, do you know if it is possible to disable the sounds for the ridiculously persistent helicopter?
