Reminds me of M2TW with Stainless Steel mod even tho set in different time lines it was a challenge playing as Byzantines was very good campaign until Mongols showed up followed by Timurids then **** got real.
This is from gameplay using Radius Mod with The Last Roman campaign in Total War: Attila.
The time period is about 530-550AD, so it's like half way to the medieval era. It's can be notice in changes in weapons, armor, and units themselves.
