Description

More work on a Capture The Flag map for OpenKatana (please ignore the textures). I recently decided to see if I could work on a new gamemode entirely via the game module without changing anything engine-side and so far it's gone pretty well, there are plenty of useful functions now exposed for anything you'll feel you need including moving a lot of engine-side code over into the game module so that it's easier for developers to update when they need to without having to touch the engine at all, this is great for us as we're working in a team of two and try to avoid touching what either of us are trying to commit our time to and for me that's the engine while for eukos it's mostly the game (so a lot of the work you see in OpenKatana such as weapons etc are mainly his work so he deserves a huge thumbs up from anyone that plays this after we release it). A lot of people are probably curious as to why I decided to throw out QC in favor of writing the game logic in C and it should be quite obvious honestly: firstly it's much faster and secondly, perhaps most importantly too is that it's easier to manage and debug, especially when you're considering using a lot of the code in future projects like we are ;)
