graphics dont make up a game, you dont just want eye candy from a game, i mean what the point of a visually stunning and "correct" game if the physics are **** or something or bots are complete idiots. But yeah this could be a answer to everything.

i have geforce fx 5200 512 mb RAM 2.4Ghz Processor and half life2 is still unplayable at dx7

One Question....Will it be harder to run than half life 2? or have you toned down the lighting a little bit or sumfin?

On lowest quality half-life 2 is really stuttery even with directX 8.1 rendering 640x480.....
Please sum1 tell me there is a homemade fix or sum sorta patch caus beta and omega drivers make it worse!....i really need to run DB:SOURCE!!!!!!!!! really badly.
