Where is the main download file?

So I guess the Steam version is stuck on 1.0005 and I've been trying to find the 1.0006 patch all night but the setup.exe says it detects the US version and its only applicable to Worldwide versions. None of the downloads ive found have worked

I've tried all of these things listed, I can get as far as the main menu but when I try to start a new game, it just crashes seconds into the loading screen

I've tried getting this mod to run for the past 2 days and it continues to crash after I select new game. I'm running the steam version and I had no idea how to tell if I have 1.00006 patch or not, and I've correctly extracted the files out of the archive before I installed it and I dont know what else I can do

the game immediately crashes. which bin folder am i supposed to delete? the one the mod comes with? or the one that's already in the stalker folder?
