THIS IS FOR ANYONE THAT IS A PART OF THE US ARMY OR WANTS TO PROTECT THE HOMELAND(USA)
My real name is Luke Voss and I live in California. My house is not near the beach but not necessarily in the desert either. I play football, ride my bike and airsoft quit often. I am strongly torn between whether I like Battlefield games or Company of Heroes better. My main contribution to modding is mapping because I have no skill as of yet on object creation or animation. I plan to kick for Riverside Community College and upon graduation from college, join the army as a second lieutenant.
Mods are a funny thing. All are based off a core game that when it came out, no one complained and everyone enjoyed them. But as months past, the core game became old and repetitive. People wanted something new and whether it came in the form of maps, new units, or entire new factions, the mods became the superior products and the original game became almost unbearable. Now whether this is a problem or just a fact of PC gaming, I cannot clearly say. But I must admit that I have grown very attached to several mods that have really increased the play life of several games. My contribution to mods is mapping and it really creates a sense of pride to play on a map that I have single handedly created. Modding is a vital part of PC gaming and I hope the companies continue making it easier for us to access the game files and create our own on great games.
