I know I'm over a month late :P but you just need to head over to Apps & features in settings and uninstall Tales of Middle-Earth from the list. Then the installer will ask for a new path.

Is the fix coming? Sorry if I sound impatient I just really want to play the latest update

How do you play this in multiplayer? I assume you use gameranger or voobly but I can't find how to choose ToME, I can only see options for vanilla games.

I tried reinstalling everything a few times and now it seems to have installed correctly. Now I get the issue "Couldn't run specified executable!" when I try to launch ToME. Anyone know of a solution?

EDIT: It didn't install correctly I tried reinstalling everything for the billionth time but I can't find the option to select where to install. Therefore it installs to another folder I was using for testing and I can't make it go to the correct one.

EDIT 2: I used the 0.6 installer to install to the correct destination, this meant the new installer installed there too. Then I tried to run it and Avira Antivirus quarantined AoETechTree.exe because it had the "HEUR/APC" pattern or something. If I try to launch it shows an error saying AoETechTree.exe is missing. Is AoETechTree.exe safe?

Eregion was actually an ancient kingdom of elves, but they had very close links with the dwarves of Khazad-dum.

They decided not to make a dwarf faction as it would be hard to make buildings for people who live underground, but Eregion has lots of dwarves in.

I'll try reinstalling everything, and I'll also try adding the installer to the AoE2 folder. I have the 1.0c patch installed

I re-installed to the standard "Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II" and reisntalled TOME but it can't find AOETechTree.exe

I had the same issue with the launcher, still trying to fix it

When I open the conquerors normally it opens the conqueors and works fine. So I'm assuming if I played conquerors on gameranger it would work fine but still be conquerors not TOME. So how do I play tome? Thanks for your help.

Now it won't open in full screen. Im running on windows 10. Is it the same with you or is it just me?

TOME isn't an option. Do you select the conquerors?
