It's kinda hard to do that when it comes to angmar I feel. Their units starting out aren't very strong against say dwarves or even gondor swordsmen.

is there like a strategy guide for the game?

I try to enjoy playing on random, but I tend to get factions I'm not really good or familiar with.

Tend to lose a lot lol.

I'd like to try winning for a change, and being a team mate, more than playing angmar and sitting there for 40 minutes waiting for resources, only to not really have anything because of enemy attacks. (using angmar thralls for example, and having to wait for resources that barley get you swordsmen that dont last too long.)

Are you playing AI or actual opponents, because seeing well over five matches elves were unbeatable in every sense of the word, unkillable in fact, yea, I'd say they need a nerf more than the friggin rams people cry about all the time.

Huh, just thought of something.

Think the suicide troll will be part of the misty mountains faction? You know, the troll in BOTFA with the rock helmet that crashed into the wall, and died on impact?

That would be so cool as like a fast moving siege unit. Maybe lower the armor because that troll had no armor.

Imagine rushing a base with like twelve of those and just ending a game right then and there? XD that sounds hilarious. Trolls just running into buildings destroying them and dying in the process.

Anything else? Don't really want to click through each one and either get kicked for not being in a group, or there simoply being no rooms.

I have to ask where do you fine the most multiplayers? I use tungle but there just don't seem to be many people on it.

I tried it with all trolls and still couldn't win so....I think BAH needs a boost in defense and attack speed. Still don't know why build a heroes are so weak and killable regardless of stats.

Hell I just want a create a hero that can fend for itself! D Instead I rarely ever use him because he doesn't last long no matter what his resistance is

Custom heroes for some reason are really weak and slow at attacking. Dunno if that's how they're supposed to be or they can be fixed but they have such a slow attack rate. Too hard to find a full team on Tungle too.

I completely agree! Goblins are always my top choice for bad guys. Honestly mordor has left me kind of wanting.
Too reliant on sauron for my liking but it does spice things up.
Goblins is where it's at.

Some of the maps wont let you use the build plots in the base.

And the command point setting doesn't work half the time I notice. I'll have to restart and hope it stays at 17K or wherever its set.

Hi! hate to be a bother but how does one dowload the wizard submod? The instructions aren't quite clear, I get a paper icon that asks how I would like to open it when I click on it. Furthermore, I downloaded ROTWK online, am I still able to use it?

I like the mod, I just feel like everything is way too limited. The heroes feel way too susceptible, Dain getting killed by rank one base mordor archers is really really crummy. Resource gathering takes way too long and feels so limited when you play as dwarves. Hoping something changes, I kinda liked it when you could place resource buildings wherever but I mean this is cool.

As far as I know they've mentioned two factions. One was the misty mountains, though maybe when the goblins are back in that will be a subfaction. I dunno, i miss playing goblins. Dwarves and goblins are my two favorites ironically enough. But I guess goblins aren't available right now.

lol true. Guess I shoulda said just faction. I'm honestly waiting for there to be a campaign for the siege of dale and erebor during the war of the ring. That would be amazing!

Ever think of making a Dale subfaction? I mean with what you have for dale, it's pretty extensive already.

I dunno what it is but the create a heros feel a lot weaker than they used to.

So I understand why you guys took out the wizard class but I dont at the same time. Can you get the other istari in the game?

What I would do in the build a hero is make the other istari like Pallando the Blue, Alatar the blue, and Radagast the brown. Will they be available later?

be cool if Bard could use a sword.

I feel like the build a heroes are very very weak. I make a dwarven hero I kinda expect him to last against one orc horde. Espeicially with his resilience being 9. And is there a way to speed up attack rate? Its like one hit every four seconds, kinda annoying. I know create a heroes aren't supposed to be as good as the in game heroes but having a hero I don't have to babysit everytime he's on the field would be awesome.

Also this mod is so fun oh my god.

Will there be a misty mountains faction? I see Azog and the Great Goblin and think "oh my god those look awesome!" Great work on the mod btw.

had the same problem all day XD I've done everything, and the game just does not start. Imagine you click the play button when the edain mod launcher is up.

The launcher closes, and the game doesn't start or load or anything. There's no error window, just doesn't load. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or what might be wrong? Maybe it's my laptop?

Thanks fg15 earlier. I'm still havin that problem though with getting the mod to start at all. I update the launcher, click play and again it just closes the launcher and nothing happens. I have the patches installed and such I dont know what wrong.

I was able to download it once already, any other time it says connection error so....the only problem I'm having thus far is still just getting the game to start. I click play and nothing happens. The launcher closes and thats it.

Sorry if I sound impatient but does anyone on the team know how to fix this loading problem I'm having? The updates have apparently stopped again as well.

heh, least you're actually able to play it. Hells bells I cant even load the thing. Did you like dowload any patches to BFME2 and ROTWK?

hey mate. Maybe you can help me out. I dowloaded the edain mod, and the patches and everything listed in a video on youtube, and I still cant play the game. I click play but it simply does not load the game up at all. I'm tried the fix starter and that doesn't do anything. Any ideas?

I dunno if anyone else is having the same problem when you click play, and nothing happens. That happen to anyone else?

hmmm so with that info any idea what it could be? I did dowload BFME2 and ROTWK online if that has anything to do with it.
