"So what you do is you get a new vers of gzdoom and drop it on gamedata and overwrite. Now the options menu gets fucky, but just the options, go there, choose vulkan, and ta-dah! Works perfectly!" Restart game after choosing Vulkan
This fix was recommended by ASoftSquare and worked for us to fix the renderer problem!

Hey thanks for replying, this did not fix the opengl renderer flickering and flat 3d objects :(

im also getting intense flickering on certain sprites like bushes, and most other objects that should be 3d are flat, were you using opengl accelerated as the renderer?

Hi I've tried running this game with every renderer option available and they're all giving me issues, I would like to run it with the opengl accelerated option but its give me terrible flickering and flat sprites where there should be 3d objects. Im using an older amd radeon r9 390 and trying to play the Directors Cut (1.32) and i have 32gb of RAM if that helps. My gpu drivers are upto date as well.
