The dev team has been working hard on the mod ever since it was announced, and at no point has development halted.
And why do people sound so surprised by us auctioning off the computer? Do you have any good ideas for sharing ONE computer amongst 50 developers, spread throughout the world?

Sorry to burst your bubble there mate, but we don't go out and recruit people from other teams. The ones who want to work at our mod sends an application to us themselves.

You almost make it sound as if you are annoyed by the fact that we showing progress?

Same reason as most mods do:
To get more the word out that it's under development and recruit more team members.

Questions like "when will it be out" or "is this still being worked on" have been asked so god damn many times that if I had a penny for each time someone asked it, you would all be working for me as my personal servants in my massive mansion, taking up probably somewhere around 60-70% of the earths surface, mowing my lawn and fetching me cold beers while I sit on my *** all day skinning, watching television and viciously playing violent games while shouting random profanities at the 1463'' plasma screen.
Well, you get the picture, so please, do pardon the general public for not wanting to see the same old questions being asked over and over again. Long live the karma system. :P
