lately EU have proved themselves for being a wanna be superpower, taking after US, with a president, who I don't even know the name of, even though I'm a european citizen, but EU is a joke, a greedy joke with megalomania!

Nah, it more symbolizies the "wannabe a super power like USA but we still hate them", like the soviets, and the fact our Glorious President wasn't elected by the people but the Reichtag in Brüssel, and just that that if you remove the hammer and sickle you basicly gets the young United States flag, except the stars are yellow ^.^ it's filled with symbols :D
I don't understand why the hammar & the sickle is on the banner.
