Having worked as a farmer and woodcutter for most of my life i became determined to do something that would leave my mark after i was gone. Since then i got back to studies, and i have now a master degree in Electrotecnical Engineering as well as a degree on Electromechanical Engineering. On my free time i like playing and so i became interested in creating my own games or, in the shorter term, modding games to get something closer to what i would like games to be.

After looking through.

Is there a head area of interest?
With the head being a a part of a whole model?

Did you use codex base like the Praetorians?

Many questions.

How did you find it?

I used codex kasrkins, the sergeants have an independent head but with kasrkins another object had to be replaced for the same effect. Tallarn have 4 heads for guardsmen and 2 heads for sergeants (only slightly different). There were 2 or 3 Tallarn models in Dawn of Coalescence (probably something that was given to IronWarrior by one of the team members), not much to work on but still a considerable ammount of objects.

Mobility. Someone on the forum said they had a lot of mobility as a fast force in the desert.

Would this be best represented using the heavy weapons from the space marines, like the previous scout heavy weapons done?

Textures on weapons can be fixed easily to make them look more guard. :) If they bone sync.... Just thoughts. :)

Did you have to Max anything?
I cant remember if you had a working max or not. :P

Hope your having fun man. :)

No max was used man. That is pretty much why i put Tallarn FFE work on the title, especially at relicnews, to see if people get it that this is being done with no bone synchs or modelling of new parts.

Tallarn are known (from what i've found) for using lots of vehicles and light troops, pretty much they use high damage weapons (plasma guns, sniper rifles...) to fire once and hide again. In terms of vehicles they use mostly sentinels and various troop transports (supposedly their planet's atmosphere is dangerous to say the least which actually makes it hard to believe they even have light troops which is pretty much all they have).

The whole universe is dangerous. :P
I think they could be sensationalizing it. :)

Its been over a decade since '01, so they should be becoming more popular.

Great work man. :)

I know the whole universe is dangerous but not all planets have corrosive sulphur based sandstorms. I honestly would think that a planet with those traits would generate easily light mechs or heavy infantry with anti corrosion armour (i guess they should have that in the 41st century) but not cotton dressed marksmen. Still cotton dressed marksmen fits well with desert like soldiers which is what Tallarn definetely are.

Veteran squads of Tallarn warriors with heavy weapons? If i go melee weapons it is likely to get repetitive but these might be too Kasrkin like i imagine.
