Having worked as a farmer and woodcutter for most of my life i became determined to do something that would leave my mark after i was gone. Since then i got back to studies, and i have now a master degree in Electrotecnical Engineering as well as a degree on Electromechanical Engineering. On my free time i like playing and so i became interested in creating my own games or, in the shorter term, modding games to get something closer to what i would like games to be.

Curiously scale in mission editor and ingame seem slightly different to me. Sure ingame it would be bigger than the squigoth but it doesn't seem that much bigger as it seems in ME.

is it a lua scale trick?

Or is the model so large, because it is made that way?
with reference to the MSGR/MSLC.

No it is a lua re-scale but from several tests i always seem to get the impression that the size scaling with that method doesn't correspond precisely the same as ingame, nothing extreme but i do get the feeling that it isn't quite the same. That is the crate that is dropped in by the valkyrie with parts for leman russ, chimeras, baneblades... Considering it was 5 times the original size it does have a good texture without a significant quality loss which can be used to diversify its use through retexturing.

With such a big crate dropping from the sky imagine what it can drop in!
