It's my pleasure to discuss with fellow gamers mate. Thanks! We are talking about the same thing. I've tried that and I don't think it looked natural. With the arms (replacing both the actual and the normal textures it looks much closer to a chainmail. Anyway if I find the png archives of the game that I have saved I might make an option, but I can't promise. Also keep in mind that although there are 3 (actually 4) different textures for Altair's robe (and hood) the inside color of the robe is only 1 texture. That's why with this mod we can have 3 different robes but if you notice they share the same color in the inside. So a chainmail hood would have to share the inside of the fabric one or vise versa. Another limitation is that the inside texture comes in a much smaller resolution. So the inside of a chainmail hood would look blur and bulky.

Thanks for the comment! I had already tried that. In fact that was my initial intention. The problem was that the shape of the headcover was that of a hood not of a head chainmail. So while in the NPCs it looks right, falling heavy on their foreheads and covers their head's sides, in Altair's head it looked unatural since it had the shape of a light fabric hood not that of a heavy head cover. Especially at the forehead part (where it makes that eagle's beak). The medieval hood in the ac unity as you correctly mentioned, has a round shape front which falls heavy on forehead and it is more narrow on the sides.

Yes this is the order (if you want the original skies and mountains textures). What do you mean by not render in game? If you put the Crusader v.1.1 Altair doesn't appear with the Crusader outfit?

For Texmod you can find many tutorials and videos on how to use it. For Assassin's Breed Mod and for the other mods you just need the "Package Mode" function. Its really easy to use. The "Logging Mode" and the "Package Build" are for making your own texture mods.

I see. You have to put only one file of the AB Mod at a time. Choose according to the mission or city you want to play and put either the file "Muslim Warrior", "Saladin's Elite" or "Crusader". Not all together. Then if you want to play with another "disguise" you 'll have to quit the game and restart it (via Texmod of course) with the file (tpf) from the AB Mod that you want. And yes, it is only a texture change mod, not a gameplay mod. Have fun!!

I don't know if there is a problem with win 10. I have win 7. I always play AC with Texmod. On top of the list is the AB Mod, then the Skies and Mountains Mod and then the Overhaul Mod. I never had any crashing problem. Have you tried using only the AB Mod and see if the game crashes?

You need the Texmod program which you can download for free. Read the instructions of the Texmod program of how to use it with games. You can also read the "Info" pdf in the "Bonus File" of this mod.

AC for pc is compatible by default with xbox controllers (for PC). You have to choose with keyboard's enter key the saved game and after that the controller can be used (once you have selected it through options).

Very nice as the previous ones! I especially like the work in crusaders (and I am keep playing and testing...)! One thing I'd like to discuss with members who are playing the first AC again, is the bug that makes the knifes in Altair's belt invisible. This is a game bug and it is not caused by any mod. So I'd like to know if you people have experienced it and if someone has a solution. Thanks.

Amazing work! I like a lot the new textures! I have only two points. First, I ve noticed that the clouds at Masyaf are not moving as they originaly did. Is this because of the new sky? Second, as Ive wrote in a previous comment I prefer the cities in daylight. Your work is very good but still the backround buildings in Jerusalem have this unnatural white color. Also in the dark the shades and glimpses of the clothes and equipment are lost. Also the city life with the open stores maches more to day than night. So I would ask you if you could release a version with all cities in daylight (even with the original sky in Jerusalem). This would pe perfect and satisfy all the tastes. Thank you & Keep up the good work!

Good luck with the second part hecumarine! And you are planning a third one? That's very good news! About Damascus I was just wondering if it was possible a second version of the mod with Damascus in daytime. As for my mod I am working on some final details. Surprise...

Very good work and an ambitious project too! I liked it a lot! First of all, I am glad that gamers and modders still enjoy the first AC. I find the medieval atmosphere of the game unique, as well as the fact that it is the closest to the real Assassins history and practices. I will soon release my own mod for AC and I was glad to see that it is compatible with yours. I have 2 remarks. First, as I ‘ve seen you intent to do a nighttime version of Damascus. Could you also make an improved version of Damascus in daytime? Second, Altair’s little brown leather case at his waist has a round spot that I think that you should fix in the next version. Well done & keep up the good job! PS: Did you make some tweaks in the civilians too…or it was just my idea?
