Look like an Assassin, Feel like an Assassin, Play like an Assassin!

-Use disguises like the real assassins did in order to gather information and reach your targets unnoticed. Choose your disguise from Muslim Warrior, Saladin’s Elite or King Richard’s Crusader and carry your weapons realistically inside the enemy territory. But be aware not to break your cover or the guards will find out your true identity…

-Watch your equipment and clothes change as you advance in the Assassin’s ranks and gain access to more demanding missions.
With photorealistic leather parts of different colors (and quality) and accessories like belts, vambraces, greaves, pouches etc and with more than 3 combinations for every disguise, you’ll see and feel the difference every time that you get promoted!

-Fight like never before with your completely reworked arsenal.
With photorealistic swords and custom made daggers you will be eager to use your weapons! But do it wisely. As an assassin, the shadows should be your first choice.

Assassin’s Breed Mod contains 3 different and highly detailed uniforms, photorealistic leather and metal parts, realistic dirt and weathering, 4 different custom daggers with new custom cases, 4 photorealistic swords, new hoods for Desmond, new normal maps and shade textures and many more details which are waiting to be found during your gameplay!

Hey Gorgonut!

Is it possible to change the Muslim/Saladin's Elite to look more like a Muslim soldier, with a conical turban helm, chainmail, beard, etc?

Hey gorgonut I have an Idea to recommand: For the King's Richard's Crusader skin mod, could you change the texture of the hood(The hood Only) to have the chainmail texture like the arms? That way the hood will look more like a chainmail coif, similar to what the crusader guards are wearing in the game (for more reference, look in ac:unity at the ''improved medieval hood'' gear).

Thank You and hope you read this so you could add that.
good day.

Thanks for the comment! I had already tried that. In fact that was my initial intention. The problem was that the shape of the headcover was that of a hood not of a head chainmail. So while in the NPCs it looks right, falling heavy on their foreheads and covers their head's sides, in Altair's head it looked unatural since it had the shape of a light fabric hood not that of a heavy head cover. Especially at the forehead part (where it makes that eagle's beak). The medieval hood in the ac unity as you correctly mentioned, has a round shape front which falls heavy on forehead and it is more narrow on the sides.

I am aware of the issue your having with adding this feature, but here's how I think it could still work: by saying ''change the texture'' I didn't meant to change the model of the hood to make it look like a coif(like the crusader NPC's) but what i had in mind is to actually replace the white texture of the hood with chainmail (much like the same way you did with the arms, despite the arms having a light fabric model to them).
I think edting the hood this way is possible indeed. i've just seen youtube videos of older ''templar skin'' mod for the game trying to replecate a chainmail coif like hood. I' talking about videos from 2008 which the hood mod looked poor but decent enough.
But with your modding talents, and today's texmod, I think we can turn Altair into a medieval crusader.
thanks for responing to my comment.

It's my pleasure to discuss with fellow gamers mate. Thanks! We are talking about the same thing. I've tried that and I don't think it looked natural. With the arms (replacing both the actual and the normal textures it looks much closer to a chainmail. Anyway if I find the png archives of the game that I have saved I might make an option, but I can't promise. Also keep in mind that although there are 3 (actually 4) different textures for Altair's robe (and hood) the inside color of the robe is only 1 texture. That's why with this mod we can have 3 different robes but if you notice they share the same color in the inside. So a chainmail hood would have to share the inside of the fabric one or vise versa. Another limitation is that the inside texture comes in a much smaller resolution. So the inside of a chainmail hood would look blur and bulky.
