Thank you for your racist Mod. Its been removed from the Steam Workshop and will probably be removed from here and other 3rd party mod sites.
You could achieve the same effect - an all European setting - and none of the flack if you had coded the Mod to either allow any race to be set to 100% or (probably more difficult) enabled a slide that allowed the player to change the percentage of the races.
A very good 2D platformer that more than lived up to the promise of its demo. And speaking of the demo, why has it been removed? Seems strange that they would do that, definitely not a smart marketing decision.

ioq3 is a GPL version of the id Tech3 engine and no amount of tweaking will change that. Whether you say ioq3 or id Tech 3 the differentiation is so slight as to be irrelevant. It is what it is and none of the Devs or veterans of OA see an issue.
It bothers us more that casual visitors look at the Platform Field and come away with the incorrect assumption that OA only supports Windows and Linux, when in fact, it also supports Mac OS X and FreeBSD.
And what do you think ioquake3 (ioq3) is? It's the id Tech 3 engine cleaned up, tweaked, and some welcome improvements made. In terms of changes to the lines of code, the overwhelming majority of id's code is still intact.
OpenArena supports Windows (Win9x, XP, Vista, and Win7) , Linux (most distros), Mac OS X and BSD.
For the few Mac and BSD users, I strongly suggest that you visit the OpenArena Forum - Openarena.ws.
Desura does not support Mac or BSD (at this time) therefore this information is not listed here

ExcessivePlus (E+) has been released for over a year. The mod is currently at 1.02b. See the homepage for loads of info . This mod is really popular in Europe and growing in the US.
The "About section" doesn't really say what the mod is about, so in a nutshell, "E+ is modification where all weapons are super-powerful and in every way excessive."
The mod is very extensible, so it's hard to say how servers are "typically" configured, but usually health starts at 300 and regenerates. The mod gives you the ability to multi-jump, sort of like flying, which speeds up the game especially if the grapple/hook is not enabled. The mod incorporates the FreezeTag and Unlagged mods, and is based on the work of Mr. Pant's Excessive mod (although there are some big differences).
